I have read agar saying it is. Here is how I would think you could go about it. Just pull out the plugs, put them in a mason jar, PC. As they cool, the jar should seal and be sterile. Move into a glovebox or a flowhood, and put the stoppers back in. Granted you will loose the vacuum in there, but they will still be usable. When injecting, just release the plunger periodically to allow the displaced air to enter the syringe you are using. Good luck

in the masson jar about how much water in say a pint?
And i had planed on using a sterial syringe and sucking the air out, i think it may work? I like keeping my mature LC in them

I would just use a dry mason jar. The only reason I would recommend it is so that no contam'd air comes in contact with the opened vac's. They will be in their own sterile environment until you can put them back together in a sterile area. I really wouldn't try sucking out air Just inject, let finger off plunger. The air will enter the syringe, and repeat. Make sense?
Again, this is only what makes sense to me, I have not tried it, but dont see why it wouldn't work
