Almost, all you would have to do is buy the toggle pressure relief valve. You would not have the insert pot, nor the evacuator line. But you could also buy those.

I was worried a bit since they might have a slight different Thread
The inner pot can be replaced easily, the evacuator line can be modified from a 1915X. Sounds cool.
Thanks Agar.

Why get a sterilizer instead of a PC? Can't the PC sterilize your tools, too?
Thanks

I've got a old 25 Qt. Sears and Robuck rig dated 1927. And that damn thing is fantastic. It's even got the original gauge and all the accessories it came with. Not to mention the original owners manual. It doesn't loose hardly any water of water through a 90 minute cycle. If any.

Thanks
I believe once a PC gets rediculously huge its called a sterilizer. Plus they usually have a heating unit built it. Someone else could probably explain further though.

I just bought an AA#930 that came without the rocker weight.
is it possible to get ahold of a new rocker weight, and/or would it be more beneficial to buy a sterilizer toggle valve and replace the weight valve?
agar?

agar likes the toggler valve. the link to it is in this thread. You could probably buy a weight at the same site...

i think it would be more beneficial to buy the toggle valve as well. i'm just wondering if it will fit into my pc... and/or how to get the weight valve out...
i'm sure someone's done it. thats why i was hoping agar'd drop me a line.

no no, using only tyvek dries out your substrate. it too much air exchange. don't do it w/o the lid. and a dry verm layer wouldn't do naything but dry out your substrate further.

For cakes dry verm is all you need, if you dunk and roll you wont have a problem with dry cakes, as far as grain I use tyvek because you want room to shake jars.

damnitt! wtf man...
this thread had nothing to do with brf and tyvek.
why does a newb just go into any thread and ask a question that has nothing to do with the given topic?
post a new thread and ask a question
