Jar Problems

hi all, im not totally new to all this but i have a question and i was wondering if anyone could help me a out a bit.
i had been having problems with contams in my birdseed jars so i decided to use the RTV gasket sealant to seal up my injection ports and everything went great i had a little bit of pretty white growth after a few days BUT then it all stopped no growth in over a week now
at first i thought maybe its too cold, so i wrapped my jars in a towel and put them under a warm grow light which got the jars up a few degrees to around 90 give or take but that didnt help so i stopped
then i thought duh gas exchange so i started popping the tops to the jars every day or two and still nothing
anyway im trying to make it so my jars work so any suggestions please post, also if you need to know anything about my procedure just ask heres the basics
-birdseed - wild bird seed from some big store -jars - wide mouth quart -PC - 1.5 hours at 15psi -Inoced with lc (just water and cut up cake) -all sterility procedures were pretty damn well followed - but if anyone can think of one that gets left out alot just ask because i might have forgot

make another hole in your lids and put microspore tape over it. its found in the pharmacy. 3 bucks cnd. for a good roll that will last you a while. id say say gas exchange is your problem. if you pop the lids thats not going to keep out contams. spores are little 1000 to the head of a pin so you need a filter.
also 90 degrees is too hot. you went from cold right past optimum to too hot. and when you go over optium growth rate really drops off. rather have lower then optimum then higher.
so you don't have any visible contamination? just stalled growth? then either its a moisture content problem or gas exchange beucase if it were a sterility thing you'd have visible contamination. hows the moisture content? wet dry good?

the moisture might be a little on the wet side but its not like soaking, theres like a little bit of water wherever the low point of the jar is but it hardly seems excessive
should there be no vissible water at all??

NO visible water is preferrable. When you cracked them did you smell any alcohol puke type of smell? When fermentation takes over exactly what happened to you happens. The only real way to detect it is to give it a smell.
Like skel said, drop your temps 8 degrees F.

i know there wasnt any fermentation trust me i know that smell well by now so i still dont know whats wrong with these things
i took them out of the heat at least a week ago and have given them atleast some oxygen shouldnt they be recovering? i know myc is pretty strong stuff
im trying a new batch with an extra hole stuffed with polyfill for air exchange, hopefully it will work better

toss in a spoon of dry verm in the bottom before you load your jars with grain. this way you don't have to drain it for an hour or 30 mins even. you seems to not have done that since you had standing water. i can't wait for an hour for it to drain haha screw that. drain it like a pot of pasta and toss the verm in. this also allows you to be able to use more LC if that what you are using. beucase the verm will soak up the extra water once again.

The light idea doesn't sound very consistent, you don't have any idea how warm your jars are. Try the Tub in Tub method with the fish tank heater for a consistent temperature. If you rapidly change the temperature the mycelium seems to slow down sometimes.
