why is nature important?
    #5539654 - 04/20/06 11:38 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

It seems that many people, myself included, feel that being out in nature is important while tripping. I've done it different ways but it always seems that the only thing that makes any sense is being with nature. Why is this? Having taken the herioc dose myself, which really is the death of the ego, there is no body and no mind, only pure consciousness. So why does nature still seem so important?

because in nature you are surrounded by life. indoors you are surrounded by plastic, metal, etc. inanimate objects.

reason #34545 : So infinity can rain down from space onto your brain pan.
This massages it,you see.

reason #110 : You are surrounded by a harmoniously vibrating energetic life system,it is coarsing through you, feels gravy

reason #53473472304 : You are tuning into an ancient genetic frequency within your sub conscious mind, related to when your ancestors (which you are simply a recombined fragment of) were living in nature.
This is a reassuring feeling of connection and home, instead of being in alienoid plastic and drywall environment.

reason #2 : theres a nice breeze,a shitload of fragrances, many textures, and room to run, play and explore, who woudlnt want to be out there.

reason #90000000 : you might connect the idea of nature with hippies and drugs and the whole scene, so its fitting naturally within your social acceptance receptor. Bzzzt.

and reason #1, so the druids can communicate with you,and we can all build and dance within mushroom palaces and strange orb like growths which burst and send spore like firecrackers into the cumulonimbus cloud structures which cascade overhead,of course

We were born (as a species) in nature, we lived in nature, some of us became one with nature, others learned to manipulate what it gives us to build massive structures, cars, computers, etc which only serve to satisfy us and destroy nature. Makes sense that shrooms make us want to reconnect with nature...

Because "god", the energy which formed this planet and universe for that matter, is most highly concentrated out in nature. The beauty and life of nature just radiates from everything.
