You should keep the poo around 160 for a couple hours to pasteurize. The oven tek says to put the temp up way higher... like 350 or so until the bag heats up a bit. Then turn it down so that the poo stabilizes in the range you want.
The oven tek works well, but have you considered just putting an oven bag in a pot of water? That works fine too. You'll need a candy thermometer for the temperature of the water, and a meat thermometer for the temperature of the poo, so it's one more thing you'll need to buy, but ime it is faster and more accurate than using the oven. I never wanted to use a pillowcase either... It seems like a bitch to let it drain.

Yeah, i tried the oven tek a couple of times, not too happy with it myself. I had a hard time trying to get field capacity right. Water pasteurization is far superior, and the water helps to leach your poo, (something I don't have time to do.) I use my turkey fryer pot, it comes with a nice fry basket that pasteurizes like a dream!

So I just get the water up to 160 and let the poo chill in a bag for that time? with about 70% water content? and that will be good? how do you do it in a PC? seems like it would be to hot.

just stick it all in a pillow case and put that in a big ass pot put a thermo in your water wait till it gets to around 160-170 then turn your burner down and keep the temp at 160 or so and let it do its thing for an hour or 3
also you dont have to let it sit and drain for 24 hours just take your pillow case out of the pot thouroughly rinse it with cold water from your little spray thing on your sink to lower the temp then squeez it a shitton till no water comes out then let it sit for a few minutes then squeez it again then its reddy to be used
