San Pedro Dosage

So I am sitting here staring at a big fat potted San Pedro. I have tried it only one other time. I made a tea and enjoyed the experience but I think it would have been better had I dosed more.
So I am considering doing an extraction so I can dose more accurately... then I realized something! The only scale I have is a cheap hand scale. So... does anybody have any ideas how I can dose accurately?
Also has anybody tried the simple alcohol extraction? I know this is used to reduce the total volume of material you must consume but is there any way to get an accurate measurement of the mescaline this way?
My only other solution is to make a tea with about 3-4 feet of cactus and hope I trip and yet not be in la la land for 24+ hours

3-4 for feet is probably a good dose i plan on doing about that much in a week or two. i really doubt that you would dose to much.

Finnally got the cactus ready to cook... wow what a job.
I actually have two days to myself comming up so... I am gonna take a very small amount the first day to gage for the second. Hopefully this will give me a decent trip.

Don't dose two days in a row, you will have a tolerance and it will dull your 2nd trip greatly. Wait atleast 3-4 days, a week if you can.

If I get a buzz off the first day I will wait... but if the effects are barly or not at all noticable I shouldn't have to worry about tolerance.

id just take the whole dose at once. mescaline is a pretty managable trip even at high doses and i doubt even with 3-4 ft of cactus u have more than 600 mg os mescaline. charge it brotha and let us know

I've always heard that a normal dose was 12-20 inches. Maybe that's why I don't experience anything but threshhold effects.

Well if you got a good cactus that amount should do... also the diameter of the stalk matters as much as the length. The cactus I am boiling up was about 3.5-4" thick so I am only cooking about 21 inches. All together it is about 3.5lbs of cactus. Theoreticaly this should be good enough for several doses, you never know.

I just strained off the plant material, now it is just time to wait for it to boil down. I am sorta having second thoughts, I forgot just how nasty that stuff was untill I am getting close to doing it again

What makes the taste so horrid is its basicness... if you had some form of acid to it does it help the palatability much? Seems like it would help neutralize the ph and cut down on the bitterness.

ewww san pedro tea, that will wake you up in the morning! It is deceptive the original taste is almost somewhat pleasant. Just when you feel that you have consumed it with very much disgust then it finally hits, wow what an after taste!
I consumed about 1/3 of what I produced. I will wait two hours and see how I feel before consuming more.

This is actually turning into a good trip. Mescaline has a very unique feel to it.

I'm looking at acquiring a San Pedro in the near future, post a trip report or keep updating us with how you're doing.
Have a great time!

It has been a good trip so far. I would have to have taken it farther but the body load is a bit much. Very diffrent from a tryptamine trip. Much diffrent feel to it.

if you can acquire pure citric acid its not altogeather that comlicated to get mostly pure mescaline salts.
