thinking of adding a humidifier

For like 20$ i can get a fog humidifier at the dept by my house. for a few bucks more i could rig a piece of tubing to the end of it where the fog comes out and rout that to my FC. then i can add a few fans to the FC with filters on them to aid in the FAE does this sound like a good idea or do i need a fancier set up. i think the whole thing will only cost me like 30$ to do the way i laid it out and hopefully that will improve some of the problems i have been having with overlay and slow fruiting after pining.
to the vets. this sound wise?

Word up ma fuka
hehe i saw a nice little temp humidity guage for 20$ too. I Think that when i get my tax refund ill invest 50$ of it into my set up and build a really top notch 30 gallon FC. I'm using 2 10Gal tubs now but i think ill build a single that can be totally self contained and ditch the perlite all together. once you have a good humidifier and FAE you don't have to open the setup at all. that will really cut back on the stress about con-tam i live with now. yeah i fig a 30gal will allow me to really do this right next time.
i guess i did OK this time but i don't know. It seems so namby pamby to half ass this shit. might as well do it in bulk. I have been struggling with trying to keep it small, because i don't re distribute my efforts, just for me! but now i fig if i build a really nice chamber i can use it for gourmet mushrooms when I'm not using it for fun stuff.
I found i really like watching these things grow and like the challenge. Its a good hobby.

done and done.
ok so to those of you who have fans on there FC.. how did you regulate the electric?
I knew in advance this wouldent work for shit but i tried to hook a fan right up to a plug in the wall... fffllliiibbzzit shorted right out. i knew i needed a regulator but when ever i see someone talking about this i never hear anyone saying anything about it. There is no way that a comp fan can take the 120 right out of the wall. so how do i (cheaply i could get a 50$ regulator from radio shack but that is out of my price range) hook a comp fan or any other small fan up to a wall plug for air circulation?

and do i even need a fan?
couldn't i just use a fog humidifier... that pushes air. add a few passive vents with filter? seems like that would do pretty good?

What i am using right now for my cases is basically fully automated is that i have two tubs that are one on another (only untill i get another big enough) and i have my cool mist on a on 15 min off 45. The bottom tub has the cases and the top has 4 polly filled 1/4" holes for FAE. The hose from the cool mist enters the top btw
I also have a 7w night ligt that is on a 12/12 on/off timer
I just finished it today, seems to be ok so far?

i dont know. even at a low setting dont you think this would remove to much humidity from the air?
I wen to radio shack today and did some geeking with one of those uber geeks that work there and i figured out a fan system that will cost me about 25$ since i have the case fans from old computers already. But I'm not going to add till i have a humidifier in pace to re-up the RH.
sigh ... come on federal gov!!
