If one were designing a cabinet, where would be the best place to introduce fresh air?
I think its the bottom, but I'm not sure.
Actually, if anyone has any nice cabinet setups, or links to 'optimized cabinet setup' would be great!

Well I'm trying to renovate a cabinet, and i already need a new bottom, and back wall.
The back wall is fiberboard, and doesn't necessarily need replaced, but the bottom was rotting, and mold city!
As of right now the air intake is a 115VAC 65cfm cpu fan from 'da shack'. It is located on the back wall, at the level of the growing media, IT IS ALSO serving as my fan to keep the air moving, even though it does not oscillate.
I am wondering if it would be worth it to build the fan into the new bottom. here is a crewed drawing of what I am thinking. .... Light
.... Plants - --------- - -----Fan----- ------------- < bottom, would have intake holes, without light,
The fan is 1.5 inches, I'm not sure about clearance, but i think that .75inches on the intake & outtake, should be fine.
Hopefully, with my illustration you can see, I'm trying to add fresh air all around the plants, instead of just the ones by the fan, in the back. I'm only have 2.52 square feet. I could also scrap that Idea, take back that fan $24.99, and get another 4" inline duct fan for the same price that moves 80cfm. I could easily move the 80cfm to the back wall, but i don't think i can move it to the floor. I am using the 80cfm to exhaust the 250hps lamp, but It is straight lamp to ducting, there is no other exhaust in the cabinet.
ANY and all suggestions are welcome.

!- ----------- -! !------Fan-----! !- -- -- --- -- -!
How about that as a cut away front view. I want to make sure that you can't see any light coming out of the bottom. As far as setup goes, I moved the 80cfm inline duct fan, to on top of the lamp, I read that the inline fans work better sucking rather than blowing. I mounted one of the CPU fans (115VAC 65CFM) to the side of my light. the lamp is a Hydrofarm 250HPS, which has the ballast and bulb in one piece. I also went to HD and got a New bulb. Only 21.99, I figured they were twice that, I saved the old bulb, so if anything bad happens, i got a back up.

Well you see in the back of my picture, I have 4 PVC "90's" and that makes the intake faces down the are black but i spray painted some of it white, enough to keep it reflective. Yet i have no light leak at the back.
