shults starting mix?????

went to wal-mart saw bag of shults starting mix. it looks like good shit. its 50/50 peat and verm with lime, but it also says it has time release plant food. this still be ok? the ingrediants only say verm, peat and lime but the bag says plant food. what do you guys think?
