    #5531950 - 04/19/06 12:00 AM (17 years, 9 months ago)

So I am thinking about buy some pre pateurized mushroom substrate from tennstudd.com...could I just inject it with spores and cover the hole with tape and wait till they spawn or w/e?

Then if they spawn, can I use the 2 rubbermaid tub incubater method? Where do I put the substrate? Does it need light? Fanned?

Im sorry if im being a total newb, cuz I am...any help is greatly appreciated.

peace

no your going to have to look up this is all in the faq.
except, no you can't just inject poop. it doesn't take you have to spawn from grain or pf. however you can make poo cakes with poo verm brf and some grain. grain is optional. the spores germinate and colonize on the grain and brf and then to the poo. this has to pe sterilized though not pasteurized.

you can inject a bag of substrate if its the right kind, ie grain or pf.
when its 100% colonized then you toss her in an fc = fruiting chamber which is normally humidified by some means. unless it is a mono or double tub.
i don't know any teks off hand but there are tons in the grow section.

Edit: just spend some time reading different teks and find one you like. also you can mix and match to meet your situation. then get spores
