first timer, I need some advice on my growing mycelium

Hello all,
I've been tring to grow p. cub amazonian strain, its my first time using a kit I got on ebay(vision grow kit, the deluxe kit). I inoculated the jars (1 pint brf) 26 days ago, they have a good lookin rizomorphic mycelium, which i hear is a good thing, but it only covers 3/4 of the jar. The bottem is completely covered (which from what i've read is usually the last to come) and up too about 1 inch or so from the top, then the growth is patchy at best and not near as thick. Is this a normal growth pattern, they have been incubated at 85-87f the holes on the lids are exposed too allow for gas exchange. I just dont know if their ready too dunk yet or do I wait and see if the rest of the jar will fully colonize? The jars sat for about 2weeks before i inoculated them, but were kept in a dark closet. I could really use your feedback and thanks in advance. This board is an invaluble resource, much appreciated for all those who post here, it has helped me greatly thus far.

do the jars have vermiculite only in the top inch? verm is non nutritious and the myc shouldnt grow very well there.

I believe they do as i was instructed (by the kits instructions) that the holes be left uncovered as the vermiclite on the top would prevent contam issues. I didnt make the jars though, so i cant be sure. here are a couple of pics of them as tey are right now. Igeuss the images are too big, i'll try and figure out how too get them on here as i imagine it would help!

you should be fine to birth 'em tomorrow. or if you wanna wait a few days more thats cool too. you can even wait till they pin in the jars if you really want to, as long as its all colonized then its fine.
