Good tune by Radiohead, off the album OK Computer. I never hear anyone talk about this song, but I've always really liked it. It was written for the most recent Romeo And Juliet movie (the one with Claire Danes).
Thom said: "The song is written for two people who should run away before all the bad stuff starts. A personal song."
Radiohead - Exit Music (For A Film)
Wake, from your sleep The drying of your tears Today, we escape...we escape...
Pack, and get dressed Before your father hears us Before...all hell...breaks loose
Breathe, keep breathing Don't lose your nerve Breathe, keep breathing I can't do this alone
Sing us a song A song to keep us warm There's such a chill, such a chill
And you can laugh! A spineless laugh! We hope your rules and wisdom choke you!
And now! We are one! In everlasting peace!
We hope, that you choke...that you choke... We hope, that you choke...that you choke...
--------------------
Once, men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.

Yeah it's an awesome song. I would have to say I prefer Street Spirit (Fade Out) for that style. Amazing though

Man, when I got to hear Street Spirit (Fade Out) live I almost creamed my pants.

You've seen them live already?? How was it? Tell us everything!
Is Bonnaroo worth the ticket price to see them?

One of the most overrated bands of all time.

*gasp* Blasphemy!
Their new stuff is kind of electronic-y and pretentious which I don't really like but "The Bends" and "OK Computer" are great.
