Is this a sign of high humidity?
I have no idea how these formed. I had to leave my newly setup greenhouse unattended (except being filled by a roommate) for four days, and when I came back I had knots, pins, and this!

It looks to me like big strands of myc that have tried growing into the air basically...
Here is the skinny on the greenhouse: I birthed four casings which started to get overlayed from the heat being too high. I recased, lowered the temp to 75, and that's when I left for 4 days. I set it up with coolmist running 24/7 and a ultrasonic on 10 minutes every two hours... It was way too much, the greenhouse was always at 110% humidity. When I got home from the trip I just took the ultrasonic out completely, and it's been better since. Did the high humidity for 4+ days cause this? Is it something else?
Also, my fruits seem like they are going to break veils very very small. Can this be caused by heat/humidity issues? I know it isn't the casing depth, as it's about 1.5" of substrate and 2/3" 50/50/4 mix
here is a pic of the other casings, they are looking pretty well

thanks for any help you can give guys

sounds/looks like humidity.
your small fruits are probably due to your really shallow substrate. 1.5 inches is really shallow (not that its a conceited prick or anything )
next time make your sub. deeper and you'll get bigger fruits
looking good though!!
have fun

really? I've usually have great results using a bread loaf pan... I usually just fill it all the way to the top with substrate (between 1.5 and 2 inches) and throw on a .5 inch casing layer...
You need some pretty deep ass containers if 1.5 is really shallow...
another question, should I pick this stuff off? I would assume yes but should I wait until my first flush is done?

I dont think your substrate is too shallow. Ive done casings with that depth and have had no problems.
The reason your getting wacky results is most likely due to the humidity and possibly the temp changes. If I were you I'd wait and see what they do for maybe another day, then pick whatever is on them and hope for a better second flush...Myabe dunk them too, that could help a lot!
