question regarding caseing.............
    #5530192 - 04/18/06 04:50 PM (18 years, 8 months ago)

i am aware that once i crumble all of the colonized substrate, i should later put my caseing layer on... than put immediately back in incubator until it starts to colonize the caseing layer.. then Patch....
piece of cake.....

my problem is ......
does it really have to go back to the incubator???????
i dont have enough room for incubating all of my future caseings..
i just plan to leave in martha closet once i do all of my caseing layers....
What will happen in that case??? will it just take more days?? o is this a very bad "DONT DO IT" thing...
thanx in advanced
peace

It needs to continue colonizing [the casing layer]. Decreasing the temperature 10F +/- id imagine would slow growth significantly
