could my pins have stalled?

I have a bulk tenn stud 50/50 mix grow going using a 12qt. dish tub inside a larger tub with perlite/misting for humidification. I dont have any casing and am using some wax paper loosely over the substrate. It has been in the FC for about 8 days and has pins about 1.5 inches long with brown heads about the size of large peas. The pins look pretty thick and nice, but they have slowed growth in the last 2 days. They have grown some, but not huge. I hope they dont just stall and not get any bigger. What could the problem be? They are in a room that stays from 70-82 degrees. They get fanned at least 4-5 times a day, and if the walls look a bit dry then i mist them. I lift the wax paper and air them out a couple times too. i need suggestions. They look like they might stay pretty skinny and short and not amount to any weight hardly. help

sorry no pics.
is 8 day a long time for being in the FC? I didnt really think so. How long does a normal substrate stay in the FC from start to harvest?
Also, do pins get to a certain size then take off and get fatter and taller real fast? Or is it more gradual. Mine seem to be fat but as they get taller they get skinnier and the heads are now quite a bit wider than the caps. is this bad?
Is slight blueing on top of the substrate a sign of low moisture? HOw could i go about adding moisture to the substrate>? I know taht can be the cause of small fruits, or maybe im just being paranoid because it's only been in the FC for 8 days.

I think they are going down hill. they appear to be opening the veils soon, and they are not much bigger. I think the problem could have been that on day 5 and 6 of fruiting i was out of town and i just left the lid cracked of the FC and the wax paper over the substrate. WEll when i got back the tub was dry with no condensation, so i bet it dried out some in those 2 days.
Ill clean all the mushies off mist the shit out of it and try for another flush. HOw long is it until pins on flush 2 usually?

could too much peroxide in my water i misted with have caused small mushies? I just threw likst 1.5 cap fulls of peroxide and filled my mister up. It's a pretty big bottle, like a liter.
