drilling holes in glass? fishtank?

i want to make a hole in a fishtank terrarium. can i do this without going out and getting a drill bit for glass or will i crack the tank instead?

I'd recommend a high speed dremel tool, and a diamond bit of some sort. Also as you are drilling, use water or something to keep it cool at the drill site.

any other way would most likely crack the tank.

and some system to drip water if not some better lube.
get a rubbermaid. much less work
