so someone posted a link to get free tyvek from the us post office (forgot the link)and I ordered myself 10 envelopes.. I hear theres different kinds of tyvek, how good is the little white envelope kinda tyvek? and does tyvek actually filter out bacteria? or spores?
and is it necessary to put a dash of silicon sealent over where ill be jabbing through to inoculate.
and yeah im using this for BRF spawnjars.

BRF : not a great spawn(twill work) The sealant is not necessary, but saves you from having to cover the hole with tape. but if your using PF jars you don't even need tyvek or tape(as for the verm "filter"). As far as Tyvek goes, the USPS Tyvek is on the bottom spectrum. If you go to a construction site, you can usually find scraps or High grade Tyvek lying around. And all of these questions have been addressed countless numbers of times. PLEASE utilize the SEARCH function

you ordered 10 envelopes? TEN?!? i was a dumbass when i first heard about using Tyvek. i went to the local post office and grabbed like 30 envelopes. then i hopped on the USPS website and ordered 100 of each Tyvek Mailer. that's 300 total. i have a HUGE fucking boxfull and i'm not even gonna use it.
Tyvek sounded like a great idea at first, but i've found Teks to get around needing it - for anything.
SO...
to hit the point: if you order from them, order a LOT because it takes a week or more to get it in the mail from them. if you only need a little bit, go to the post office. unbeknownst to you - they have no idea WHAT the fuck you are gonna do with those envelopes.
and...
if anyone needs 300 Tyvek Envelopes, i'm open for trade.

you know, having a few flushes under my belt the terminology is still confusing me
spawn.. spawn is mycelial cake that you break up to inoculate a bigger median right? those big 6 inch sized cakes made outa hpoo right? right?
no? what the fuck is spawn then, what the shit do you call PC'd BRF jars.. and actually, what does PF mean??
and krill, PHF is perhaps the best show, I have ever seen.. im hooked on it.

You want the priorety mail ones. The express mail ones are made of 25% recycled paper and can rot.

If you want to go all out, you can get your wife knocked up, and if she has a C-section, and you opt to be in the OR, they will give you a Tyvek suit, hat, and booties. These are great, as they will make about 275 filters, and are made of top-of-the-line Tyvek, surgical grade. The USPS envelopes, are however, much more affordable, since they're free, and I think alltogether, the suit cost me about $28,750, plus formula, diapers, teething rings, etc.

They don't contain 25% recycled paper, they contain 25% recycled tyvek.

Heading a thread, with:

Will someday cause someone, or this site trouble.

Thanks for the heads up bro! It's taken care of. We really don't want to lose an excellent resource here guys this should be commonsense but sometimes we just don't think me included.
