PRESSURE cooker Question!
    #5525556 - 04/17/06 03:45 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

Old fasioned pressure cooker, about two inches of water, weight steam flow... I forgot to put the weight on, so the steam was sooting out, but i heard jars shaking violently, and this took place for about 35 min. the jars were hot when pulling out... did they get sterilized?

I would say NO. Need to use that weight to get to the right psi.

I agree!~

since there was no weight used...basically he steam his jars.

and he didn't do it long enough for steaming...if they were pf jars.

if they are some other kind of grain...your gonna have to pc them.

Will do guys, i'm waiting for my LC's to germ. n e ways! I just live with my grandparents, so when they leave i have time to use the kitchen. So how do i know what psi ista at, my cooker has no way of telling, or setting it. It just has a button, and a rocker pressure release? Do they get loud while pressure cooking? Could i do it while they are asleep?

well mine is loud but you have to consider its pretty lame doing it in their house. they are liable for your illigal acts and if you are going behind their backs thats not that cool since they do pay for you to live and all. id suggest waiting till you move out.

most pcs run at 15 psi unless its oldschool.
you will need alone time for a good 90 mins

i would defiently NOT recommending to attempt to grow drugs in your parents house. believe it will only turn around and get you.

Start over with new substrate. You may have carmelized the substrate. It is not worth the work to find out later that the batch was fried.
