Off-Topic: Best marijuana strain for music listening?

Can you please help me improve my life? I am a depressed and very stressed individual.
I don't know much about marijuana strains but here is what I enjoy and dislike about smoking certain types of weed. From that list, please help me find the ideal strain to suit my needs.
Enjoy -Listening to music and feeling the vibrations deep into my head. -Relaxation -Feeling Sedated -No stress -Sleepiness -Patterns & Hallucinations
Dislike -Racing thoughts -Deep introspective feelings -Thinking about philosophical questions
Thanks.
PS:I always smoke before going to bed. Functionality isn't a problem for me.

I really don't think it matters what strain you smoke. If you smoke any dank you should be chill...IMO
Btw, it probably won't help improve your life unless you yourself make a stand to change it for the better...

Six? It seems like a lifetime, or at least a main era - -the kind of peak that never comes again. San Francisco in the middle sixties was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant." Hunter S. Thompson.

Nah, sometimes I can't stop thinking and I go into deep introspection. It hurts me and I just want to cease to exist because life becomes unbearable.
I need some bud that will hit me like valium or xanax.

Maybe you shouldn't be smoking MJ if it gets you thinking that way...

Even if I knew what strain would be good for you, there are so many strains out there that you'd probably have a extremyl hard time finding it. A lot of dealers don't even know what strains there selling. In the end, all marijuana gets you high.

no weed will hit you like valium or xanax. No weed will pull you out of depression. If anything it'll only make you dwell on things more. All you'll get from using marijuana to escape things that bother you is a daily habbit you regret starting. Rather than trying to throw a pill (or in this case a plant) at your problems, try solving them yourself? Drugs wont improve your quality of life, only you can do that.

I'd have to argue this... While sativas are great for listening to music, they seem to get me thinking a lot, and the thoughts seem a little more out of control and random, sometimes I'll just completely withdraw from conversation, etc cause there's just so much racing through my head, not what he's looking for

yea sativas are known as more of the trippy head high strain. indicas are the body highs that make you just wanna sit and do nothing, more of a lethargic body high than a head high. although no weed is gonna get u hallucinating and seeing patterns in my oppinion. most weed you buy from a street dealer is indica as you have higher yeilds with it. sativa is harder to come across

given the right set and setting hallucinations (or at least tricking yourself into perceiving things as being different) are possible. Wont be anything like shroom visuals or anything, but mild patterns can form as CEV's, and people have had mild OEV's

I've never tried this but passion flower is used as a mild sedative, this may be a little more what you're looking for, although it is an MAOI and I don't know much about MAOI's or passion so I couldn't say for sure if this would be right for you, just thought I'd throw it in there as a possibility. Another thing you might want to consider is kratom. From what I've read it seems to be a little closer fitting to what you're looking for. But again, I've never tried kratom, my research into this plant has been by no means extensive, so I couldn't say for sure whether or not this would be a good idea for you
