FC question.

Soon I'm ready to birth my cakes. To get a Rh of 100% I have a bottle with a bubbler hooked to it in my FC. I think this won't give much air exchange. I have another pump. Could I just let this pump blow air over the bottom of my FC and make some holes in the top of my FC??

You may not get enough humidity with just the bubbler. From my experience, perlite is the easiest but messy and prone to contams if not careful, and a cool mist humidifier works best and pretty clean yet requires some maintenance. I have lately been using the monotub with tyvek over some 1" holes, which really helps the air exchange. GL.

It really depends on what kind of bubbler system you have...
and what kind of substrate you are working with.
for cakes...perlite and a bubbler in the corner works great.
you can see the bubbler in the top right corner of this picture...

and for casings...you can get away with just using a bubbler sometimes.

and the results...

But with just one bubbler I get a Rh of 100%. Sould I still add perlite?

not if you can maintain high humidity.
it wouldn't be needed.

Is it a good idea to add the other pump just for the air exchange? Some holes wit polyfill etc.
Thanks for the feedback btw!

hard to say...
you start pushing too much air into the fruiting chamber and your humidity level will drop.
you can try...if you so desire. but it might not work.

Maybe a good way to drop the rh for casings. I think it is time for a experiment

oh it is!~
and casings love all the air exchange they can get.
