Long effect?

hey, i tried marijuana for the first time two nights ago and I have some questions. I tried two joints with my friend first but i guess i didnt inhale properyl because nothing happened. we spent about 45 minutes finding someone who had some, then we rolled it into two joints (which were pretty big, with no tobacco in them). a few of us had them but most of the time they were passing it back to me because they wanted to make sure i got stoned. So after about 5-10 mins it started kicking in, i had a huge wave of vertigo and it felt like i was halfway between unconcious and concious. Kind of like a dream. We walked around and i stared at things alot, argued, and couldn't remember what i said 5 seconds ago. It was a pretty fun time and i enjoyed it, but that was just to give you a bit of background. Anyway the next morning i woke up and i was fine, two of the people who had it were feeling a little sick though. that afternoon all of a sudden it came back a little, the dreamy feeling. It's like i can feel things differently (i didnt have any visual hallucinations it was mainly the 'feel' of things, like eating food) and it stayed for about 5 hours last night until i went to bed. this morning i got up and after about an hour it kicked back in again. its very mild but i can still feel a little dreamy, and im sure its not just lack of sleep or anything because it reminds me of the night i smoked for the first time and i haven't felt anything like it before. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? is it just my body's reaction to the THC, i can remember someone telling me it can last for up to a week. Maybe its because i haven't had it before so its hitting me harder than it normally would(plus i mightve had a high/laced dosage for the first time)? Any ideas would be appreciated.

1) I doubt it was laced, most dealers don't make much profit off selling bud, lacing it is just more money out of their pocket
2) The THC would not be hitting you still, personally it sounds to me like your mind's just playing tricks on you or you're just becoming aware of something that's been happening your whole life. I'm pretty sure everyone goes into dreamy states every now and again...

Yeah I didn't really think it was laced either. It's just odd because of the feelings i'm having, I've never had them before. Like just chewing gum, feeling the inside of my mouth is crazy. I don't usually pay anywhere near as much attention to my sense of touch

maybe since you noticed how hightened your senses can be your just more aware of them because you noticed these things the night you first got high and now you are noticing htem now

Sounds like you got a case of stoneritis. I'm gonna write you a prescription for the inhilation of fine herb 3 times a day in order to avoid sobriety.

You just got really, really, really stoned. When I was starting to smoke pot for the first time regularly, there were a few times where I over did it and smoked so much I got feeling dizzy/sick.
As for the day-after effects, probably just a bit of a 'weed hangover'. I've noticed sometimes if I have smoked alot the night before, the day after I'm a bit hazy-headed.

I'm not sure if placebo is to blame. When I started blazing I would often feel pretty spacey the next day, so maybe it's just due to lack of tolerance and a new chemical in your system. Or maybe it is placibo and I just had it too.

I'm guessing placebo. It sounds like you were obviously excited about smoking, and were expecting alot. You were very concious of your condition and looking at everything that happened with more scrutiny than you normally would. The next day you were looking for after effects I assume, and this created something for you.
It was just you being excited about getting high, I would assume.
Oh, and you got bad weed, going to die, etc. etc. :-p
PS Dealers almost NEVER lace weed unless they do it as a joke or to get at somebody they don't like. It's too expensive to do that with everything you sell.
