another week for theese guys?
    #5522496 - 04/16/06 08:32 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

been about 18 days i think from inoculation...looking real strong over the past 5 days. those little dark spots are just very fine verm stuck to the side, and the big black splotch in the bottom center jar is just caustics on shaped glass. just wondering if anyone has some advice on the timeline of when to birth them from where they are now.

im fairly sure i dont have contams in these, i sharpened the images to look for defined lines where mycelium might be competing with cobweb or somethin else.. but they look like they passed the test.

They look ready to me. I have read that it's a good idea to let them sit for a few days after full colonization, but you could birth them now if you wanted.

Are those 1/2 pint jars? They look kinda small.

Once they appear fully colonized wait another day or two.
