absorbing wbs

Hey guys i had wbs jars soaking over night tis been a bout 24 hours now..but before i went to bed they werent absorbing anymore afgter the first 10 soaking hours they stoped absorbing..but this happens to al lthe wbs i soak and then after i pc it gets extremly dry...so iam gonna put empty jars in the pc and put the wbs filled jars on top of those so they arent touching the bottom of the water..hopefully itll solve my problems

maybe steep a bit. just boil a pot of water or use a kettle. poor the drained wbs in the boiling water. leave for 30 mins or 45 or an out whatever you like OFF the heat. since the grain isn't hot when you dump it in the water will cool below boiling and you shouldn't get burst grains. should nicely top off your plump moist grains!

oh fair enough then. i soaked some 2 days ago. i looked at it after 24 hours and it had mold all over the floaters ahha. white fluffy mold. this also happens to be where i used to keep a bunch of colonizing grain jars. i don't think good spores could have gottne in there but who knows maybe my kitchen turned into a mushrooms contam fest.
anyhoo i realized i dont' have any lc ready so i just tossed the bucket in the freezer haha. now i have a big cub of grain.
