I injected what i ordered as brazil spores but either there was a spore mix up or spores already in the hpoo took over.

I am gutted after all that time and effort,

That's pretty intense.
Are there any other casings from the same batch?

Nope! i will let them grow on as i am fascinated in what they can be. Also there is no sign of a cap so i wonder how they can reproduce. It's very interesting but disappointing at the same time.

Hello Gnostic, it's good to see you posting again. I am going to let them run on to see if they develop into any other than what is showing at the moment. Hopefully then they can be identified.

Wow, that is really interesting. I'll be watching this one closely. It almost looks like a type of cup fungi, but the flesh type is all wrong. Maybe it will be clearer as it matures. Does the flesh blue at all when bruised?

I will update with some more pictures tonight. There isn't any bluing when bruised or cut. I wondered whether they were some kind of puff ball as there seems to be no cap.

Trippy. I have no idea why this happens but had it happen to what I thought was a normal casing. They just bubbled up

For interest here are the latest images. As the growths mature many of them erupt on the surface into tiny smaller growths which continue to grow, like you where stacking marbles up. The largest so far is around 1/2 inch across.

Thats due to some kind of cleaner you used in your fruiting area. That happened to me after i used bathroom cleaner in one of my tubs and didn't wash it out enough.

That is a bit strange...Maybe you used just the right amount of chemicals (bleachandwhatnot) to make pysillycybes unpysilly,
That's some strange growth, , but it's rather intersting to look at, lol.
