should i wait until i see pinning in my jars before i birth them, keeping them in my TiT until i see pins? or should i do something to initiate it.. theres alot of conflicting info out there on this matter. thanks for the help ;D

well, if you start to see pins on any of em, you'll want to dunk/roll right away. Other than that...you pretty much inititate it with a drop in temp/co2 and introduction of light. If your going straight cakes, you might think about dunking before you put em in the fc. Seems to allow for the largest flush!

The most accepted standard for birthing that I have seen is to let them go 3-5 days in the jar after they are 100% colonized. The only reason you would want pins would be for an invitro-type tek. GL

you leave them for a few days just to make sure they are infact fully colonized. don't want to take them out thining they are and get a dontam. waste of a month. whats an extra few days then you thin of what could be lost right.
