Hello folks! Well I have decided I am sick of paying 40 dollars for an 1/8 of shrooms... When they are actually available. So I am going to take up a new hobby! Guess what it is :P
Anyways, I was hoping you could recommend a good pressure cooker I can get for $50 or less. I don't want to order spores until I have every material I need, so this is the first step! Thanks!

I would recommend paying 30 more than you want to buy an 18 qt pressure cooker made by presto. You can find it on ebay. You can buy a smaller one of the same quality, but it won't be too much less in price. Make sure it has a gauge and works at 15 psi. Something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/PRESSURE-COOKER-CANN...1QQcmdZViewItem

I'd go for this http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2625289
If you insist on 50$less then maybe something like this? Thought maybe try some diff places to find a nice used one for super cheap =). http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.d...pid=00807350000

You can't find a pressure cooker that is GOOD for mushroom cultivation for under 50 bucks. New anyways. You MIGHT get lucky and find a used on that still works fine but even then they don't really deprecate much value.
What I suggest, if you have a weekend off or something. You get yourself a 40lb bag of WBS, a few dozen quart jars and a box of extra large ziplock bags.
Use a credit card or cash if you've got it and buy at least a 21 quart PC from a place that has a good return policy. As in, you get your cash back. Not just store credit.
Then go home and over the weekend or something pressure cook your ass off. Make a few dozen presterlized jars and once they are cool store them in the large ziplock bags. Then the next day take the PC back and say you tried to use it but it wouldn't hold pressure or something your not sure what's wrong "can I have my money back?".
If you build a stock pile of presterlized jars you will be able to grow with ease for several months until you save up money to buy a GOOD PC that will last a life time.
It's what I would do if I couldn't afford a PC right now.
