Fluffy cakes and no pins/knots

I can't seem to ever get my camera to focus on what I'm trying to get a picture of (you can see the perlite REAL well, like that does any good though ). Anyhow, pictures are better than nothing.
I've been reading that when cakes get fluffy (like mine are), that means that there's too much humidity (even though I've also heard that you can't have too high of a humidity with cakes). I put them in the PMP on the 10th after dunking for 20 hours and rolling vermiculite. Non of my hygrometers reads that high of a humidity, but I can tell it's plenty high.
I've read that it doesn't matter how fuzzy/fluffy they get, but I've also read that they'll do this INSTEAD of pinning, and that's obviously not what I want. So it's day 5 that they've been in the PMP and I'm NOT going to screw this attempt up again. I really need some solid advice and info on this, please no assumtions and guesses.
Specs: 2 PMPs (29qt each) 1 Aquatic Gardens Air Pump 2000 Running on Full (spit to run to both PMPs) 1 12" airstone in each PMP. 1/2" exhaust hole on the lid of PMPs Cakes are BRF dunked 20hrs in 1:10 and then rolled in verm Strain is Z 2.5 inches of perlite and 1 inch of water Temps in the room are around 70-74 constantly and the PMPs go from 67.5-72 The light is a CFL above the PMPs set to 12/12

They're in the 1 inch of water in the perlite.
