Setting & Trippin'

setting is a huge deal, it lays down the foundation of your trip and experience. if you haven't melted into nature and the awesome energy that exists all over our world, you must take a trip to the beach. preferably find a secluded beach where people won't be around... i'm sure sunset would be a nice time, but night is really cool. just take a walk out along the coast while the waves crash against the sandy shores and listen to all the life that is all around you. take a look above at the universe that unfolds in a series of bright stars, burning rocks flying through space, and constantly shifting patterns. feel the cool fog creeping up on the back of your kneck and take in deep breaths of that freash ocean air. feel the sand slide through your fingers. last night was a night to remember. if you'd like to know the details: *this was my experience* there's tons of great places to trip. amongst my favorites are the woods and the beach. i highly recommend the beach. of course, just hanging out with some good friends in your house is cool too. where have you had your most memorable experiences?

One of my favorites things to do is to drop off to bed early the day before I plan to trip and wake up at like 4:00 in the morning so my trip just begins when its getting light outside and it ends at 10:00ish when most of my friends get up and then you can enjoy the rest of your day. However, you'll probably be tired later on and have to go to bed early that night, but, its really worth it. One of the best experiences I've had was in the early hours with two of my best friends.

Most memorable: In the forest, at night, under a moonless clear starry sky, lying comfy in a sleepingbag. And then, when the shrooms gently back off, watch the Stars give way to the Sun.
This usually makes your Trips Cosmic!!!

My friend tripped on shrooms through a hurricane when she used to live in the USVI. She wouldn't do it again or recommend it for others. :-)
... when the roof is already "breathing" up and down from the wind _before_ you take shrooms, you know its gonna be a rough ride.
... but, when your young and inexperienced, have a bag of shrooms laying around, and need something to do for the next ten hours while the storm passes through.

DANG IT!!!! I hate it up here.
Where i live, the Shrooms are weak. Every Dealer says their stuff is the "strongest". So split an 8th, and i feel COMPLETELY normal. Maybe a little body high...but that's about it.
What's a good setting for urban areas?

For spring break we're hoping to get some shroomies and drive to cali to trip on the beach. oh i would love to do that. otherwise the best place i've tripped was at a park in the middle of this shithole desert town. i need reeal nature: ocean, forest... something. we'll probabyl go to san diego, anyone know some chill beaches there? oh i would be so happy to just trip on the sand, guitar in my hands with my buddies and my girl. heaven.

The sky is amazing during trips
Last two trips where two in a row within 3 days. The first one I wanst really much outside, but then already the sky looked amazing.
The second time, it was unbelieveble. It had snowed and it was almost full moon. We were walkin outside, and their were some clouds, but the sky wasnt totally covered in clouds, I could still see some stars.
This gave the sky an amazing look. Like a fairytale landscape. The clouds were forming the weirdest faces and other stuff, and the stars were eyes and stuff.
Really, undescribeble amazing and beutiful. And this was a weak trip! It gave me insights in other worlds.
The snow also gave the most incredible figures and stuff. We were most of the time walking in the icey weather, and decided to go to the beach .
Since it seldomly snows in our country, and never looked at all the pretty stuff at night, we just couldnt seperate reality from real stuff. At some times this scared me, but later it was just amazing .
We were talking about a snowstorm before, and that it would be nice if it would start to snow again. And at the beach, it turned into the weirdest experience ever on shrooms. It actually started to snow, and on the water we could see a "huge" storm aproaching. This looked real enough to be sure it was really their. But when we got aware of it, it weakened off and it stopped snowing...
O well, I must write some trip reports again...
The sky at daylight is also incredible, if its a bit sunny at least.
The best is with some clouds, and some clear sky.
Once I was having a trip with some weak visual distortions. It was all really nice and stuff, but not strong.
But then I looked at the sky, and this was, again, simply amazing. The white clouds had changed into weird multilayerd 3d spirals pulsing in and out rapidly. I was like, "well, I am hallucinating now !!
Also, a weird unknown town can also be great! One time, the day after a trip, we were in this weird town in holland called lelystad, and everything just had such a weird but nice vibe :S
And I aslo have tripped once in a storm. This was really insane.
It was with the first trip for me and a friend, and it was really intence of course. At coming down we decided we wanted to go outside. It was raining and their was a really strong wind blowing, but we didnt care. We went to a bench and sat their, looking back at our trip, not caring about the extreme weather circumstances, and then we just went home after some time, still trying to understand what we had experienced that whole evening.

Hey, what's up all? I thought I'd add an experience of mine here. The last time I ate shrooms I hiked into the mountains starting at Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. A huge blizzard was just rolling over the mountains to the southwest when me and M mawed down some mushroom pizza.
We hiked to a frozen waterfall first (we were on snowshoes), and then headed back down to the lake and just hung out there for a while.
The blizzard was incredible. The snow would blow to form faces and spirits, and the only shelter was in deep timber were there was very low light. It could definately be a little spooky if you have not spent much time in the mountains. Mushrooms come from Nature, and it is there that I feel the most at home with them. While at the lake, the trees were dancing and every one of them wanted your company. The colors in everything from the rock to snow was magnificent. The blizzard at times was just huge swirls of every color in the spectrum, much like those computer programs that make the trippy images. Squirrels were running around a little (though not much, do to it being winter). The ones we saw were very funny at the time, and it felt like they were the ones laughing at us.
Anyway, if you haven't tried tripping in nature, it is something that I would rate as a must. Find somewhere where you feel safe and comfortable (remember to bring extra clothes, though getting into them might be a trick!), and have yourself a journey that I'm sure will be often repeated but never copied!
Happy Tripping All!!!
*Also, don't foget to look at the moss on rocks!

Hell Yeah~~~Nature is the shit!
Where I live we have this Island...Lots of forest...Trails...Bridges over little rivers....piers...surrounded by a huge lake.
It is the best to go late night/early morn. and time your comedown to the sunrise....
(ahhhhh memories)sitting out on the pier, watching the sun come up, good friends talking about the nights events, fresh summer morning breeze.........
