danny delivers no doubt...album is great...noone wants tool to change there sound...thats why most people dont like what would otherwise be a good band...stray too far from the roots and youve lost what you used to stand for.

Tough choice here. Its good because its still good ol tool...but then it sucks because it sounds like everything else they've put out. "Its so tool".
Well where is everyone going with this one? You like it or you dont? Personally I think they're overrated. A good band, but not musical gods like some talk about.
The only thing I like about em is its not "typical mtv top ten"...YET! Its very creative and I think we need more of that kinda thing.
On another subject...how does something like this "Leak out"? Does someone close to the project steel something and put it out? Does someone email the cd to someone and it just "ends up on the internet"? I dont get how this kinda thing happens..
Like "Well Mr. President...we emailed the plans for attack to the CIA, but it leaked out onto the shroomery....I just dont get it sir!!" Please explain.

Last week the CD's were on trucks heading for stores, so I'm guessing an employee snagged one and put it on the internet.

In My Opinion (aimed at no one):
Adam's guitar playing is too simplistic/minimalist. Too many spaces. Too many bullshit songs. Too much like APC on PCP. Heh, on Rosetta Stoned I heard "anal spooning" once and "shit the bed" three or four times. Clever vocal effects at the beginning, though. Seems like these songs lack confidence...I.E. it doesn't have the confident cleverly interjected progression that Lateralus had. It almost has a hopeless angst feel to it...in a soft spoken manner.
I just feel the album is far too comptemporary and far too easy to mimic (I could actually tab these easily).
Rating from me: 5.3/10
Albums in rating order (highest at top, minus Salival): Lateralus Aenima Undertow 10,000 Days Opiate (Only scores lower because it has fewer songs)
I think "Vicarious", "Jambi", and "Right in Two" will be easy to get into...the others...well, I don't think so. Unless you count "Rosetta Stoned", in a fuck-off song kinda way.
If I wanted to sum up how about felt these albums have progressed, I would say that it's like taking a shitload of psychedelics. Aenima was the anxious come-up, Lateralus was the Ego-loss peak, and 10,000 Days is the "fucked in the ass" hangover. Salival...well, I guess that was just one of those moments where you couldn't figure out whether it was real or just your imagination (but maybe that's Lateralus).
Sigh. But thanks for uploading it guys.

hehe thats good
This album wasn't what I was suspecting. I thought it would be much more agressive, it's APC'ish. Still like it though.

Tool-Lite. Especially mjk's vocals on The Pot. When I first heard it, I immediately said what the fuck??

Definatly. Was just really thrown off because they said it was going to be heavy. It's still good music, just not the kind I hoped for.

When I first listened to it I was a little thrown off but after listening to it 11 times since I downloaded it has really grown on me. I think a lot of people won't like it at first but then change their mind. Right in Two has to be one of their best songs ever.
