Basic question

Let's say someone is making up some PF jars.

He/she mixes up the verm/BRF/water then spoons it into the empty jar.

Is it wise to then put the piece of aluminum foil over the jar, push the foil down a bit, pour a little bit of verm on the foil, then screw the lid on? This is what i've heard of people doing.

If this isn't the right method or sequence, let me know

what you described is a ramsey seal......and it works excellently for me. i haven't had a problem yet using it.
