Having posted the magnetic stirrer Blue Helix gave the thumbs up, So I got it....ya
How to make a liquid cultures FAST (like two days)!
Thanks for the encouragement

Can I come to your house? My mom says it's ok
That's a sweet post Blue Helix made. I learned about Reverse osmosis then watched the discover channel to find out that they make maple syrup these days with reverse osmosis instead of evaporation the water from the start.
I'd stir my coffee with that thing.

Congrats. Good to see you stepping up to the plate. Stir plates are the only way to go in my opinion. Now quit messing around on the boards and start making some damn LC.

One thing about the spinning speed: I am sure the ideal speed is really related to the size of the container and the size of the magnet. Paul Stamets recommends 100 too 200 RPM in GGMM. That's pretty slow. A 2" magnet spinning in a quart jar just starts to make a funnel at 300RPM, and your picture probably shows closer to 600 to 800 RPM. I run my cultures between 100 to 300 RPM mostly, but if stuff starts to stick to the glass or magnet or the surface, I crank it for a few minutes to loosen it and break it up.

When your right Wronguy your right
I was wondering about the speed, since there is no rpms on the dial and I have nothing to go on to compare.
The magnet is an inch, that came with it
So the size of the magnet and the jar, dictate the rmp that it can generate a 'tornado'....correct?
Now am sure it doesn't matter much, with respect to the shape of the stirrer, I have noticed allot of different choices.
This link was shared with me, still the standard ones are the best or are there others that one should also consider?

Most of those magnets would work, but the one inch one will be fine. Just spin it slow. 60 RPM is one spin every second. You want 2 or 3 times that speed. The exact speed, though, is unimportant. Just don't have the liquid splashing all over the place.
