space could be bent so infinite could really mean just meeting back up in a bent pattern.

i do belive in math, and by doing so i cannot accept that there is infinite numbers of worlds
I like math too, but how does math prove there is a finite amount of worlds? I dont think thats even a question the disicipline of math attempts to answer.
Also, what kind of math does your friend use to "understand god"?

According to the Hitchhiker's Guide, the Babel fish was put forth as a fideist example for the non-existence of God:
"I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing." "But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves that You exist, and so therefore, by Your own arguments, You don't. Q.E.D." "Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic. "Oh, that was easy," says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing. The fish feeds on mental energy created while composing a sentence, and apparently excretes mental energy in a form that can be understood by others. It was revealed in the Quintessential Phase that it also, like dolphins, has the power to effectively teleport itself and its host (in a plural zone) out of fatal danger.
Both are from Douglas Adams The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Just thought it was interesting

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.

I dont agree with the theory snaggletooth mentioned. A finite number divided by anything, be it infinity, will still always be a finite number therefore it can't be equal to zero. This is a bad statement theorizing that physical life is not real.
I believe in the Holographic Paradigm.

Sounds like you don't understand what Orwell was getting at there. Why don't you explain what you mean?

Hey, you guys can argue and bicker about who's "right" but you have to understand our view of everything, most likely, at this current moment is entirely human.
We can only hope to understand the universe, while trapped within a corporeal body, from within the perimeters of human comprehension... which, well... basically means we can't REALLY know, but can only guess... argue and bicker about it.
I don't know for sure, you don't know for sure, and he/she doesn't know for sure. This is a wonderful thing.

haha, the original post was meant to be taken as a joke, its from the Hitchhiker's Guide.
funny to see people argue over the logical validity of a joke.
