Thinking of starting to grow

I'm thinking about starting to grow some MJ, I have side a great place to do it (indoors), but I can't find much information and how you go about doing it.
Can I get some tips from you guys? Maybe a place to get seeds that is reliable, if someone could point to some sort of tek or info on growing that'd be really nice too... other than that, the only thing worrying me is the smell? Any good way around it?
Basically if someone knows a good site that has a lot of information that would be incredibly helpful
Thanks!

if you're growing indoors expect to drop at least 500-800 bucks on supplies.
You can get rid of the smell using a carbon filter.

Here you go dude:-
http://www.nirvana-shop.com/info_growing_guide.php
This is one of my favourite no-nonsense grow guides. Also plenty of info on cheap sources for supplies. If you can, get pro hydro equipment. Or check my other posts for more info. I built my own hydro grow room, cost about $700, not inculding nutrients etc. See picture's on - Update week 5 flowering... thread. If you post me details like, space, money available, time etc then i could help you with designing and building your space.

I don't know anything at all about hydroponics so i'm probably going to stick with normal organic growing in pots and stuff. As far as money goes i'm willing to invest what it takes, hopefully less though . I have all the free time in the world over here... and as for space the room i'm going to use is a little bit cramped, it's a lot like a giant closet. It's part of an attic though, so the roof is slanted, the top of the slanted roof is approx 5.5 feet up, slant is probably a 30* from the floor, goes about 6-7 feet out, and the whole room is around 20 feet long, maybe a bit more.
I was reading somewhere about a tek that involves using very small plants to grow small amounts very quickly, in about a month per plant, and was thinking of doing that since i'm sort of pressed for vertical space here.
edit- Read some more on this Sea of Green technique and it sounds pretty perfect for my situation.
One thing i'm worried about is my power usage... how much power do other people pull in for some of their grow rooms?
