juss bought a PC from a garage sale for $15 but it has no manual and no gasket thingies on the top, juss three werid looking metal pins that look sumtin should fit over them. I also got alittle metal cylander that I assumed goes over one of em but it dosnt seem to fit on any and the inside engraving doesnt match up to any of the pins. so can I run the thing without the metal cylander or any other parts or will I have me an accident?

You'll need to post a picture. Somebody will have one like and be able to tell you. RR

but without the black knob on top, maybe thats where the cylander goes? and also that little thing to the left of it, that like pin thing, it has two of those. so is it safe to use with nothing on the pins or do I need to buy sumtin? lady said that was all the parts to opperate. another thing, i dont know how many PSI, whats a safe amount of time to let the jars cook in this thing? thanks for the help.

the black knob is the rocker that controls the PSI, i think you can put a towl but i am not sure. No pressure will stay without the rocker...

That little thing on top is probably a weight, and it is supposed to just sit there. Older models use that to regulate the pressure. The pressure is right when the weight rocks back and forth 5 or 6 times a second...but they're hard to get the hang of. Mine either bobs and spins or just stops. I hope yours is a bit better behaved.

If there's a brand name and serial number, you might be able to find a .pdf manual to download.
