WTF my humidity is all over the place. i have a martha style tent with a ultrasonic and cool mist i run the cool mist all the time and the tent Bowes out like the whole thing is full of pressure from the humidifier so i know that it is circulating OK. this is my humidifier is there something wrong with it? one day it will be 90% then the next day 80 and then who knows?? http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2630422 i am afraid of overlay and my casings seem to be drying out. i do mist and have the ultrasonic come on once in a while the hose connecting it to my tent is about 4 feet long...

check your filter bro, it may be getting clogged up causing the drop in air flow and hencethe drop in humidity. also, the humidty in the air outside plays a factor as well. when it goes up the humidity in your tent will go up too if it is not air tight. as far as the balloning out, if you dont want too much air flowing thru the tent you can always get a smaller guage hose. it will restrict the amount of airflow being pushed by the humidifier. hope this helps

Wrong humidifier. The filter/wick types are not suitable for our use. You need a cool mist with a spinning disk. The wick type humidifier you bought can be used later in your house to raise the humidity slightly. This will make it easier to maintain proper humidity in your greenhouse. RR

the humidifier that i am using is just one that i had before i got into this hobby. i will have to get a new one tonight. since there are so many humidifiers out there it may help me along with others viewing this post that may make the same mistake if people could post model numbers of ones that seem to work well thanks again...
