What kinda coleus?Blumei I assume.Im eager to hear how it turns out also.
Did you grow the coleus yourself?
I just started some seeds a few days ago that I received from the very gracious member, llamabox.
I cant wait to see a healthy adult one.
Good luck on your plants as well vertigo, remember to post pics af their progress.
cheers

i just found out my mom's coleus blumei was supposedly psychoactive. she has had it for years and i always admired its colorful leaves, anyways i read all about it here and erowid but there wasnt really much to go by. tommorrow i will post a pic of the plant. i chew about 45-50 leaves and i think i may chew a few more. my friend tried about 35-40. he said he felt really relaxed and definately noticed an effect that was way beyond placebo. i feel really oddly spacey with a body high and really subtle visuals that are definately psychadelic, everything seems to have an energetic electric buzz to it. my body feels rather heavy and gooey. i honestly didn't think i would feel anything based on the trip reports and lack of info. i am not seeing any crazy hallucinations but everything is just more vivid. it seems to go well with reefer. anyways this was an interesting little suprise on an otherwise boring nite. i am going to try to sleep now cause several have said it potentiates lucid dream states. also i am going to chew about 10 more leaves. btw i weigh 240 lbs and am 6'6" tall

freezing the leaves before chewing or making tea might help to gain better effects. supposedly the actives break down if the leaves are dried, however freezing is supposed to help preserve them for up to 3-4 days. trying freezing them for 2-3 hrs then thaw out and chew or make tea. the freezing ruptures the cell walls and releases the chems inside. remember human saliva and intestines dont break down cellulose very well, so most of the actives are probably still stuck in the cells.
p.s. i have a very nice coleus plant that i'd be willing to give out some cuttings. check the marketplace for my mega ethno contest!
