I'll just buy a mycobag instead. Step one, inject the bag with syringe. Step two, wait.
That's my kind of shroom-growing.

Grow up kid.
There's more to this hobby then, "let's get fucked up."
It's people like you who make something as great as this seen as a BAD THING.
Sometimes you get what you put out, and mycology is one of those things. Which isn't for you.

Mac, you won't get ANYwhere with that kinda mentality :P I suggest researching it at least a little bit, so you know what to do when something green pops up. Just read around various threads, and gather information. It'll all add up, trust me.

kinda harsh words Gnostic but very true.
fact is most vendors advertise their prepackaged kits as basicly "idiot proof" and "easy growing methods" i personally feel that it is somewhat counterproductive to those who take mycology seriously, simply by dumbing it down for the lazy and stupid...
at the same time i can kinda understand the "lets get fucked up" way of thinking as when i first orderd spores from pf long long ago, thats what i was thinking...and i didnt have access to such great info and vendors who sell kits to make it a breeze...however by the time i was loading my brf/verm into the jars as pfs book instructed i had gained a genuine intrest in mycology...who knows...maybe tha' kid here will learn something from watching the myc grow...gain intrest..and feel compelled to learn all he can about it...
also..its not cool for anyone to come on here and basicly say "you guys are idiots and fuck mycology...ill just grow them the easy way! hahahaha!"...really not cool...its rather insulting to anyone who isnt too lazy to read

I`ve always been fascinated by mushrooms. When i found out that you could eat them and get fucked up i was stoked. Once i started growing them though i got very interested in mycology, and eventually deeper things than getting "fucked up". But hell if i could have bought a "mycobag" i probably would have.

I studied the pf teks and manuals for 3 months before even considering cultivation. You may call it easy now...but I guarantee you'll be either asking questions about overlay, or searching archives about colonization times.
From the moment you initialize fruiting stage, your mind will incessantly be craving consolation from elder cultivators as to :is this growth I'm seeing cobweb or myc, or, what are these yellow beads I see on my casing, and etc.
Even with "mycobags", there is no guarantee in this hobby/ lifestyle. Even if you do manage to get some fruits, it would be a hell of an approach to advance in this area of science, without trying to advance your knowledge. From the moment you see your first signs of myc growth, you will instantly be sucked into this profound hobby of creating life from the cellular level.

Reason: Yep, good luck with that myco bag stuff. Come back if you actually have a topic to discuss.
