I had my first trip on 1.75 grams of mushrooms on 3/04 of this year. Since then, although the trip wasn?t enjoyable, I wanted to try it again.
This time was my second time doing mushrooms, and this time I decided to take less than my first time, having read about low dose trips on Bluelight, and wanting to avoid the discomfort of my previous trip.
We got started late, as one of my friends got out of work late. We were planning to go and explore a nearby golf course, as I had spent my first trip inside, which I did not like. We prepared backpacks with a jacket, cell phone, water bottles, tunes, and an orange each.
At 10:40, we ate our doses at our dorm, which we had broken up into small pieces. Since we only had a little less than an eighth between the three of us, my two friends took 1 gram each, and I took .7 grams. One friend was fairly experienced with 5-6 trips under his belt, and the other was a first timer. Both enjoyed their trips immensely.
We immediately headed out to the golf course. We smoked a joint between us in order to make the come-up easier. For about 30 minutes we walked around the golf course, crossing a small brook and enjoying the mild weather.
We sat down and ate our oranges, and our trip began to kick in. The stone from the marijuana transferred perfectly into the trip. I wasn?t expecting too much, but it became apparent we were going to trip pretty well, even off less than a gram.
At this point I lost track of time, but we continued to explore the course. I was filled with indescribable ecstasy, nothing like the anxiety and jitteriness I experienced on my first trip. We all put our headphones on one ear and continued to talk and walk around. By this time, I was in a state of complete bliss, and could barley walk. I just wanted to lie down on the grass, but also had the urge to keep walking.
At one point I looked at our group walking, completely scattered, one walking half-backwards, one spinning and looking up, and me, weaving over the course, inspecting everything.
Through our adventure, we discovered a small cliff, which we stared at for probably ten minutes trying to figure out what it was, and why there were hundreds of faces in the rocks. We also came upon the clubhouse (this was a multi-million dollar private club which we did not belong to. ) The clubhouse was HUGE, and brightly lit, and we marveled at it.
We also found a bridge over a small canyon which looked very oriental in my state of mind. After crossing the bridge, we saw skunk. We thought we were hallucinating at first, but after an eternity of deliberation among us, we slowly decide it had to be real because we all saw it. We watched it from a distance, and we all were speechless when it finally walked off?across the bridge! We followed it, but lost it on the other side and decided to continue on our way.
By this time we were peaking, and we all sat down on a ridge overlooking some giant residential homes. At this point I closed my eyes and saw my first CEV. It was a small golden pyramid with an ?E? below it repeating across the canvas of my closed eyes. I was in awe, and an unspecified amount of time passed where we could barley communicate, and just lay down and experienced mushroom bliss.
An unspecified amount of time later we began to talk and laugh to each other as we came down. We realized that the ridge we were sitting on was not looking over residential houses, but instead we were looking down at the shops in the town our college is next to. We laughed about this, and decided to head back to the dorms, as it was after 1:00 in the morning.
On our arrival back, we smoked a blunt in order to bring our trip back. It worked. We then lay in the courtyard, looking at the stars and laughing. We went back inside, and hung out, enjoying the afterglow, and then we went to our individual rooms to sleep, around 3:00 a.m.
Overall, it was the best experience of my life. I could never have imagined such beauty, bliss, and fun, especially off .7 grams of mushrooms. The sky, lake, grass, stars, clouds, music, lights, and every other thing I saw was amazing. This trip was NOTHING like my first trip, and it was Godly. I loved the way I thought on them as well, and loved the empathy and inter-connectedness I felt with my friends. It brought me much closer to them.
I love mushrooms, and finally understand what they are all about.
The feeling I get just thinking about the trip is great, and I am planning another low dose trip soon. I would classify this trip into the ?Fun but little personal introspection? category, probably due to the low dose.
Thanks for reading.

nice trip report, walking cures anxiety for me, thats probably what cured yours. going on a walk through the woods is nice. when i lived in santa cruz in the redwoods i had henry cowell state park, with the giant redwoods. there was benches every now and then through the path that i could stop and take a break at between waves.. it was fun to walk around in there for a few hours on a large handful of fresh cyans. tree's as wide as your house and hundreds of feet tall. beautiful burned stumps that turn into little mazes (its crazy)
going a walk through nature while on mushrooms is one of the best spiritual and life-enlightening experiences to be had.
glad it was a good time.
try 2.5 grams next time if you think your chill with the feeling. good soothing music is nice too. what were u listening to? ide recommend ozric tentacles or shpongle for a fun time, you will get so INTO it. 2.5 grams will also give you killer amounts of CEV and if they are really good and high in psilocin, very good OEV.
I remember drinking this mush tea of only like 1.2 grams of these VERY VERY POTENT cubes and watching the spackled parts on the wall mix around and morph into alphabet soup. low doses can be pretty great, but I find most of my awe in like 2.5+ grams.
thanks for the report.
