Ear plugs as enjection sites?

I know it sounds stupid but i think it may work. I mean they have a self sealing action to them, plus they are easier to obtain then injection sites.... just putting it out there, couldn't find any info supporting my hypothesis

I reuse them. I leave them sticky side down too.. It all gets PCed. I'll prolly keep reusing them until they rust apart.

I was also thinking that the small pores would alow air exchange easier. RTV alows no air exchange

heres what i did and worked AWESOME
make 2 holes, one just has to be big enough for a needle, and one about 2-3x as big.
Put silicone over the little hole. then with the bigger hole stuff polyfill or use micropore tape. Gives you a self healing injection site and air exchange.
I had 0 contams out of 16 jars on my first try, colonized fine also.
for some reason i dont think ear plugs would work very well, but may as well try it if you want to
good luck

I think the foam plug would melt in the PC. Try nuking it. Generally, if it will nuke, it will PC.

If any fibrous material gets wet it's a potential transport. I just keep a sponge soaked in alcohol and swap the top of the micropore tape when I'm finished innocing or whatever. The alcohol sanitizes it, and evaporates the water.
