The Now.

In a moments time you can change the world.

To realize that all thoughts happen in present time, thinking of the past reminds me that not only do we not need to, the future is something that doesn't need to be thought about.

To live from day to day.

Knowing that the sun will go down and the darkness will arrive, you can see that not only could we live from day to day, you could even live from moment to moment.

Eliminating the clock.

There are two people in this world, one with a watch and the other that, like myself, that cares nothing of time. To live in the now. Now it's time to do the things that you really need to do and the things that you need to do, are already there for you.

It's right in front of your eye but can never be reached.

There is this thing that is deep inside of our minds, that we cannot touch, that we cannot see. If it were touchable we'd be all going insane.

Peace.
Octavius

Good post man. Ive felt liek that numerous times. For me it seems to happen when I am on more drugs and the days start to blur a little bit. But you are right Time is the invention of the west, adn as real as we like to pretend it is, its all a lie. That is what you sense wrong with our idea of time. To pretend there are different times and all that jazz is false, all time is the same our toys and tools have gotten more advanced but I would wager that if you took an early egyptian child and raised him in our world he would be just fine. Our idea time tends to make people feel like we are more important than our ancestors. That we are so much more civilized adn all that. Its all a costume. you sense the Lies inherent in this way of thinking and that is why you cannot accept it.

peace

Good realization.

Reflecting on past events is a great tool for ourselves to transform ourselves. Ever heard the phrase "reinventing the wheel"? It isn't necessary to do so.

I disagree.

We all live from day to day. The question is whether or not we are aware of it.

There is but one moment.

Eliminating the clock.

Eliminating the clock would be a logistical nightmare. In a sense, human beings have always used the clock.

I think your categorization of people does not reflect the reality of the matter. I care nothing for time, and consider myself to be aware of the present moment and to live within it, and yet I carry with me a watch, at least at work, and utilize an alarm clock to ensure I make it to work.

Time has a great conventional value. If it didn't, we wouldn't employ it.
