The blue at the top looks like bruising. Most likely due to being dry.

some one told me to rub it with a q tip, and if it comes off its mold. is that a fool proof tek?

I plan on birthing it in a few days

Yes, that will work. If it's bruising, as I am 95% sure it is looking at that picture, nothing will happen when you touch it with the qtip

The cake looks fully colonized now, if its been that way for a few days just dump out the verm and fill the jar with water, leave it for a day and spawn or birth as is

What species are you growing?

Yes, the bluing would be a sign of a lack of moisture, "dunking" the colonized material will allow the mycelium to drink up what it's missing
