Is this considered Cardi

I have some extra money i want to spend, and I was wondering if I buy a punching bag and do some boxing with it, is that considered a cardiovascular exercise? Because the only time I want to run is at night and my mom wont let me -_-. So can I get the same benefits of cardio with using a punching bag?

I'd say so.

Your mom won't let you run at night?

lol! Your mom is like my mom used to be. She thought someone would get me.

Yes, a punching bag counts as cardio. You should definitely get one and join a boxing gym, if only for a short while. You need to learn the basics of footwork and punching so then you can train with the correct technique. This will help you get in shape and enable you to defend yourself or hurt someone as needed.

Jump ropes are good too.

Get a heavy bag. Speed bag is just for coordination.

Better yet, get both. =)

building muscle is one of the best ways to lose weight

also

take VERY cold baths and soak until shivering

then towel off and dress lightly(as to not warm up)
your shivering(your bodies attempt at warming you up) will burn calories

also

a teaspoon of sugar right before bed
