HELP ME! I am having a problem triggering my p. cubensis to fruit. I've cold shocked the buggers and provided ample humidity, water, and light. Maybe it is my terrarium set up? or maybe the casing I am using? My terrarium consists of a gallon jar which I water using a mister. She's clean with 0 contamination and a strong mycelium base. The casing I have provided is a Mushroom Compost I got which is a mixture of straw, peat, and poultry composts. Am I forgetting something? Thoughts anyone?

got any polyfil? Try that. How long has it been anyways? Oh, wait (had to re-read). The CASING is wrong dude. You need a non-nutritious layer as a casing to initiate pinning. Read up on casing bro.

How long's it been, pins can take 2+ weeks to develop sometimes.
You didn't mention FAE, high CO2 levels can inhibit pins.

He prolly just nailed it on the head. FAE is critical for pin formation. I have casings setting in my FC for a month. I thought my automated FAE timing was going to be enough. I started fanning for shits and giggles and guess what? Pins within 3 days.

It has been 3+ weeks.
Thanks for the info...I really don't have a lot of air moving in/out of my chamber. I will try fanning them.
