2 images of thingies i saw in my recent trip. these arent exactly what i exprienced but are the best i can put down.
all done in photoshop cs2
read my new trip report if you wanna see more details... http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5499571/an/0/page/0
the images are pretty dark, and there is a lot of detail in teh darkness so you make need to adjust the brightness on your monitor.

Trip inspired art is usually enjoyed most when done freehand on paper. COmputer art is best used to create trippy visuals, not to express trippy thoughts (in my opinion). I get the light within the darkness metaphor though; a common theme to many of my own trips.

I like the 2nd one quite a bit, and reminds me alot of the visuals I get, especially after smoking weed.

im horrible doing art by hand. my only art experience is in photoshop, and i think i did a decent job of making it appear somewhat handdone (the second piece at least).
thanks kaniz. i cant get them to print properly though. the subtle shades of black and gray are too much for my $75000 printer lol

although for me, it tends to be more blue/purple, constnatly moving/shifting, some times forming patterns or 'objects' (most common is a lizzard type thing formed of the bubblges continually crawling before me).
Now and then, depending on how much weed - it will start to flash to reds/yellows/whites/greens and a rainbow of colours.
When I had taken a two week break from smoking, then smoked a joint - I'd close my eyes, and it'd sort of flaten out and stretch into infinity and became much more organized and not so 'random' looking.
But still very much made up of the 'bubbles'.
And, with OEVs, those types of bubbles will start to fill my field of vision - not enough to obstruct it, but where the lines of colours from the bubbles intersect other objects/lines/patterns, it will start to seemingly animate them.

so far i havent had any oev that just appeared out of nowhere. everything ive seen open eye have been warped versions of stuff taht was actually there (with the exception of the occasional color spots taht would appear). now the warping twisting crawling of wall textures and such is intense and amazing, but its wall texture that actually exists.
the stuff i tried to recreate was cev stuff, which of course can be much more bizarre. the second piece was an image i had in my mind after 'waking up' from a negative thought loop that held me down for most of the peak of my second trip. i recall existing in that space, and knowing that it was a completely different existance than the one us humans are used to. i knew there were different rules, but i had no idea what or why. the 'light' in the middle wasnt light at all. it was just as i drew it. a weird sketchy... thing. i dont know why or what it was, but i was just kinda floating around and looking at it.
