Quick bulk ?

I'm getting ready to make my first order from Tenn. stud. I plan on ordering 10 pounds of the pre past. and spawning my first mono tub.
my question is which would yield more, if grown under the same circumstances, 10 pounds of straight poo or the 50/50 poo/straw mix?
Tenn. stud says 5 pounds of poo will fill a 1 square foot tub with 4 inches, so I'm hoping to do a 3 square foot tub at 2 inches of substrate.
If 10 pounds of poo would give me 2 inches at 3 square feet, would 10 pounds of the 50/50 give me the same substrate depth as straight poo, or would it give me more or less?
thank you

The added straw in the substrate is there to provide a fluffier mix of poo. It does not increase the volume any, 10 lbs of straight poo will take up as much space as 10 lbs of 50/50.
If i were you id create a substrate depth deeper then 2 inches unless you want small mushrooms.

i would rather have smaller mushrooms and get all my weight in 2 or 3 flushes from 2 inches at 3 square feet then get all my weight from bigger mushrooms in 5 or 6 flushes at 4 to 8 inches at 2 square feet or even a square foot. I'm hoping ill get the same yield either way seeing as how they will have the same amount of nutrients.
thats only for my first bulk though. soon i will have many bulks going and will try many different depths, but want my first to be done faster than a teen with a porn star.

Common sense would say you'd get more with 50/50. Mushrooms can be grown on straw w/o poo, so obviously it provides some nutrients too. Plus with the extra fluffiness it should colonize faster.

Like Coda already stated, straw is there for added fluff, not so much the nutes. If you've ever grown with just straw as your substrate, common sense would tell you it has less nutes because you will only get one good flush. Poo will give you many, provided it doesn't contaminate.

Not sure about that. I would imagine straight poo is far denser than 50/50, you say yourself it is fluffier. A bag of straw weighs very little. So if you have a fixed volume of tray you should fit a higher weight of manure in it than straw alone, or 50/50. Therefore you have a bigger weight of substrate so working with a similar B.E. you should get more weight of shrooms.
