Are the jars empty?
If so, they will not colonize.
More info might get you more informative answers. :stoned:

You're gunna dissapoint yourself with false hopes. Anyone's guess is still a just that, a guess. No one will be able to tell you how long it will take for YOUR cakes to colonize.

see even with that we can't really tell you. unfortunetly even a guess will be so bad that its not worth it. its starts with that most people do multispore inoculation so you can have a bunch of jars same size same substate same incubator same amount of spore solution have different speeds im pretty sure ive had variation in batches of 2 weeks.
sorry to lead you on but theres not really an answer. when you start allow a month. then if they are done way faster youre stoked and if they are done in a month youre content.

theoretically and potentially more spores could make it go faster, but also it could add too much moisture and stall them as well. find a happy medium

I'd incubatate at 83, but acceptable is from 80-86. You can go a little higher on accident, but keep it in that range.

adding more solution will throw off your water content and make colonization longer...pf jars are supposed to have 1 cc of solution...imo id stick with that
