Hi, I thought I would just share a revelation I had today. I walk home from work. I walk the same streets every day for about 20 mins there and then 20 mins coming home. I've always just cranked the tunes and tried to make it there and back as fast as I possibly could. Although today I was walking back from work and my mp3 player ran out of batteries and I started looking at peoples gardens and the wildlife and such and I started to just stop and look in awe at how amazing these flowers and bushes etc... where. I mean I walked right by them everyday thinking that I saw them. But I feel today I saw them for shape, colour, depth amongst other things and not just "flowers". I believe this has something to do with the left-right side of our brains. But I encourage all those who walk on routine to just slow down and try to look at things in a different light. As a conclusion I guess I figured out that beauty among other attributes that are thought to be un-changeable or whatever are actually quite malleable and that those attributes correlate with our state of mind absolutly.
Peacefulness.

True! If they weren't malleable we wouldn't have different tastes in anything! People forget the important things nowdays....

I still live with my parents and my mother grows many different types of flowers, bushes, etc. I love the ones with the purple colors, the patters that are on the leaves are so interesting to look at. If I had a computer at my house i'd take pictures. But mine is broken so i use the library's computer.
Back to the flowers. I think that cross breeding flowers would be something very intersting to do. Making different breeds and blending the colors and making different style plants would be awesome.

Nice name peace and love. Your starting to realize why all the hippies were tree hugging freaks Seriously though I'd rather watch birds and the wind rustling through my trees, than TV these days. I love spring.

I know, haha I always thought that tree-hugging was almost something to ridicule but now having tried it myself I see the power and beauty in it. I guess i'm becoming a stereotype hippy
Peace.

One of my Uncles used to cross-breed wild exotic orchids as a hobby.... Had a green house and everything.... Orchids are pretty damn amazing flowers/plants with the variety of different exotic colors, shapes, and smells.... He literally had hundreds of them, and quite a few were "original" cross-breed species that took prizes home from "orchid society" shows.... One of the cool things about orchids is that they bloom at different times, so the ones that were in bloom he would bring out of the greenhouse and into the house.... I remember a few really cool ones, but one that was something like the "Chocolate Orchid" species actually smelled like fresh chocolate, and was ironically brown....!?
Pretty cool stuff, but certainly took a lot of time and patients....
