Hopefully the meetup works this year, it was very sad last year. I was at the playground and I don't think anyone else showed up. But I did find a pipe on the ground so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

i went the first 3 yrs and it has gonnen progressivly worse. too mainstream now. yes some good bands but how many shitty bands that bring the wrong crowd. the people just aint like it was the first couple yrs. bad vibes, all for one and screw everyone else kinda scene. personaly i think it all went down hill the fist time dave played. jmo.
o yeah screw bonnaroo. 10,000 lakes, wakarussa, all good and so many more better festivals, with better vibes for sure are to be had this year. again jmo.

Some of what you said is true, however much fun can still be had at Bonnaroo. You can't argue that the lineup is one of the best out there. I will also be going to 10K Lakes which has a MUCH MUCH better vibe, but the B-roo lineup just can't be beat. It is unfortunate how much negative shit finds it's way into the roo, but it is fairly easy to avoid. Bonnaroo is INTENSE.

Agreed. 10,000 Lakes is a superior festival.

Bonnaroo is very much a newbie festival. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. There are plenty of cool people to balance out the assholes.

Yeah, Panic is headlining 10,000 lakes, so it will be a superior festival. I wish I would have known this before I bought my tickets months ago.

Bonnaroo will still be TONS of fun though. Im bringing some good microbeers from MT, 2 chicks, and GOOD vibes!
