The book I was gonna recommend. Illuminatus! Trilogy MUST be read, by everybody, especially anybody who posts here. I'm serious guys, read this goddamn book!

You should definitely check out anything by Hunter S. Thompson. Very entertaining and witty. Also, Tom Robbins is very good, especially Skinny Legs and All. Christopher Moore is another good author. Many good ones out there.

Try Marching Powder by Rusty Young. I guarantee you will not be able to put it down. Also, Bill Hicks, Agent Of Evolution, is a pretty good read.

Really, anything by Tom Robbins is the best thing you can read ever.

All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake. -Erik Davis
