Do these cakes have acne?
    #550092 - 02/13/02 01:15 PM (22 years, 1 month ago)

Hey Y'all,
Well,I wanted to see what you guys think is going on with my slow-assed B+ cakes! I have been talking to WakingUpLate, who has been so patient and listened to me fuss about it, but I want to see what you all think.

I kinda think it looks like mycelial acne! Tho the pic looks weird, the cake is all white, honest. Any brown-looking spots are a couple of flecks of vermiculite that i couldn't get off after birthing. Some of those bumps are rather fuzzy looking also. My main concern is that I don't have proper conditions to induce pinning. Any suggestions? (WakingUpLate has told me that I should see some pins soon, I am sure he is right but I'm worried I'm still doing something wrong)

thanks, the one good thing about these B+ is that they seem damn near indestructible......and now very bumpy too. These bumps are good but weird...I've read so much and had not seen anything about the "bumpy stage" as I call it...weird.

Hyphal knots are a precursor to pins, it's all good.

I searched some posts and learned a tiny bit more about these. Thank you for the diagnosis, I'd not seen any mention of it in any Teks. I think it would be a great Q & A for the cultivation FAQ, I'm sure other newbies like me would be interested to know that the bumps are actually "hyphal knots" and portend goodness! Thank you very much puscle, I'm free from worry now
